Modeling and simulation is about the definition and interaction of systems, both technical and human (system of systems approach). The level of understanding that may be developed via this discipline is, ideally, comparable to the level of understanding developed by real world experience. A simulation is usually a "family" of models running over time to determine the results of their interaction, while a model is a simplified representation of a particular system.
Sonalysts has extensive experience with development of models and simulations, supporting and conducting events using models and simulations, and with validation, verification, and accreditation of mod/sim for use in government and military decision making. We also have extensive micro-simulation development experience with our commercially available game software (688I Hunter/Killer™, FleetCommand™, SubCommand™ and Sonalysts Combat Simulations-Dangerous Waters®) and building tools for corporate gaming analysis. Sonalysts possesses a wide variety of talents in the mod/sim area to support the needs of any military or corporate customer.
