Sonalysts has a long history of working in the field of modeling and simulation (mod/sim) for military experimentation and analysis, training and design. Our teams have worked with numerous customers to model and simulate forces, systems, subsystems and complex human systems. We received the Defense Modeling and Simulation Office (DMSO) Award of Excellence in Modeling and Simulation. We develop and field original models and simulations, and work with the customer to use or improve existing models and simulations. Additionally, we can help train personnel using models and simulations as a representation over battlespace. Our experience includes:
Sonalysts supports USJFCOM/J9 Experimentation Directorate/Joint Futures Lab in execution of experimentation events using live, virtual and constructive forces, combining live and virtual environments; this is done to test concept precepts, proposed systems and doctrine and organizational arrangements proposed to solve operational problems. Sonalysts has used JWARS, Joint Simulation Systems (JSIMS), JSAF, JMRM (JCTS and JTLS), and SEAS to supplement live force testing by modeling and simulating weapons systems, effects, socioeconomic impacts, political feedback and other features of the battlespace. Additionally, we are experienced in the use of Joint Analysis Systems (JAS) for results analysis in experimentation. These tools are part of the integrating environment for transformation used by Services, Combatant Commanders (COCOMs), Multinational partners and Interagency partners. Sonalysts uses the complete mod/sim enviornment to help clients answer their needs; they also provide feedback on changes to the models to more accurately reflect the environment, weapons and other systems, and effects generated by those systems.
For Naval Sea Systems Command, Sonalysts provides modeling and simulation support to military design efforts for future combat systems. Our proprietary simulation engine is used to support the Missile Defense Agency Global Integrated Fire Control System.
For SPAWAR Systems Center San Diego, Sonalysts has provided systems analysis and system engineering services to design, develop and apply Naval warfare simulations for use in C4I systems research and development, C4I interoperability assessment, and Joint/Navy command and control training exercises for over 20 years. These efforts included modeling efforts for training exercise support using the Research, Evaluation, and Systems Analysis simulation system; and design and development of the Maritime portion of the Joint Simulation System.
