NETWORK TECHNICIAN

Location:  San Diego,CA

Description:
Provide Information Technology (IT) support for our San Diego office.  Work will include network and server installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and desktop support.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in CIS/CS and 1 year relevant experience, OR 3 years experience in the required skills and qualifications.
• Should have experience operating within a Microsoft 2003/2008 domain; fundamental knowledge of network protocols; and the ability to provide server, laptop, and desktop support.
Required network skills:
• Experience with network protocols and fundamentals such as TCP/IP, IP addressing and subnetting.
• Fundamental working knowledge of network devices such as routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Ability to install network printers, copiers, cameras and diagnose related issues.
• At least 2 of these certifications:  A+, Network+, Security+, and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
Required computer skills:
• Experience with hardware and software configurations, upgrades, and repair of PC based systems including desktops and servers running Windows XP, 2000, and 2003.

Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for a government security clearance.
