AEGIS TRAINING ANALYST

Location:  Dahlgren,VA

Description:
Former Aegis Fire Controlman with extensive Surface Warfare and Aegis Weapon System (AWS) experience interested in making a difference supporting the Navy as an Aegis Training Analyst specializing in the Aegis Weapon System.

Qualifications:

Senior Enlisted (E-6 and above) with at least eight (8) years of Aegis Weapon System / Aegis Combat Systems experience, including deployments in and support of battle group operations.

Desired technical/operational experience includes:  Combat Systems Maintenance Manager (CSMM), Aegis Combat Systems (ACS), Aegis Weapons System (AWS), SPY-1 Radar, Battle Force Tactical Trainer (BFTT), Navy Instructor in support of the Aegis Weapon System with curriculum management experience.  Plusses include experience with Aegis curriculum management, Master Training Specialists and work experience with Aegis Training and Readiness Center, Dahlgren, VA.  Bachelors degree, preferably in Engineering, is desired but not required.

Must possess strong writing skills and be able to think creatively, solve problems, and communicate effectively orally and in writing.  The successful candidate will be willing to accept new challenges with little supervision and must be able to collaborate effectively with senior government staff.  Must be a U.S. citizen and possess a DoD Secret security clearance.
