Description:
Responsibilities include:  HSI program management and requirements analysis, human-computer interface design, usability and effectiveness evaluations of emerging systems, human performance studies, collaborative interaction with software engineers, cognitive task analyses in support of system design and technology insertion. 

Qualifications:
Experience in Human Factors Engineering as applied to human systems integration (HSI), human performance assessment, human computer interface design, usability testing, and the design of advanced surface navy systems and technologies. Bachelors or Masters Degree in human factors, psychology, cognition, or related field.  Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in areas such as human computer interface design and evaluation or the development of human performance metrics and testing.  Human Factors Engineering experience with system interface design and usability testing to determine and assess total system performance would be a plus. Must be a U.S. citizen holding or eligible for a government security clearance. Must be available for frequent local travel within 60 mile radius, and occasional travel to remote sites.
