RESEARCH SCIENTIST

Location:  Orlando,FL

Description:

Assist senior research scientists, technologists, and subject matter experts on various human performance research projects. The person filling this position will work mostly with our government customers and will initially focus on experimental research projects related to submarine systems including training, human-computer interface design (software and hardware), and collaborative work environments. 

Sample tasking includes:
• All aspects of experimental research including planning, literature review, experimental design, data collection and analysis of results
• User profile analysis, task analysis, design, and testing
• Status reporting, meeting attendance and documentation

Qualifications:

• Master’s or PhD in Industrial Organizational Psychology, Human Factors Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience post-education in experimental research, human-computer interface design, and/or training.
• High motivation with interest in planning and executing experiments and being involved with meaningful human performance research programs.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a government security clearance.  An existing SECRET clearance would be a plus.
